In a continuing effort to strengthen the bond between company and customer, Grundy Worldwide, a speciality insurace provider, launched a photo contest, earlier this year, which provided valued clients with the opportunity to display their vehicles on a national level.
Grundy offered its clients the chance to have their car(s) featured in print advertisements that run in a variety of magazines such as the Goodguys Gazette, Old Cars Weekly and Sports Car Market.
After receiving over 100 photo submissions, Grundy's marketing department chose Mark Wcislo's 1932 Ford Roadster as the winning entry.
"After seeing your ad on Hot Rod Hotline, looking for customers' cars, and since I have always insured all my street rods with Grundy, I decided to send you pictures of my Boydster II that I have built myself," wrote Mark, when submitting his photos for the contest. "I purchased the fiberglass body package and perimeter frame from Boyd Coddington and then proceeded to fabricate the rest of the build."
And, some of the special features?
"It is powered by a Ford racing 5.0 liter motor, AOD automatic transmission and has a polished Currie rear end and a custom mix pearl green using House of Kolor paint," said Mark.
Be sure to look for Mark's car in future Grundy ads and check www.grundy.com for more contests and opportunities to get your car noticed.
