The Nickey Chicago Chevy Vettefest, presented by Bill Stasek Chevrolet, will be held Nov. 22-23 at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont, Ill.
Championship Auto Shows, Inc., producers of the event, recently announced it would produce a single Chevy Vettefest event per year in the Chicagoland area, instead of the previous two. “Our Fall event has traditionally been the larger event, both physically and spectator-wise,” said show manager, Bob Ashton. “We are committed to giving our participants and spectators the very best experience possible. By concentrating on a single fall event in the Chicago area, that is exactly what we will do.”
The Chevy Vettefest is the world’s largest all-indoor, all-Chevrolet show and swap meet. With early 400,000 square feet of exhibit space in the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont, the show features more than 400 swap meet and commercial vendor spaces and more than 400 of the country’s best Chevys. The Triple Crown Gallery, a show highlight, features the finest Corvettes that are accepted only after achieving NCRS Top Flight and Bloomington Gold status, the most prestigious awards among restored and original Corvette enthusiasts.
The show will also feature a High Performance 1968-’70 Nova Showcase, the sYc Supercars Showcase and what is believed to be the only gathering of ’69 Camaro Z/28s that may represent all of the 18 available colors along with several special order non-standard cars.
