The 1955 Chevrolet Biscayne show car recently restored by the Bortz Auto Collection will be featured at the 2010 Meadowbrook Concours d'Elegance (www.meadowbrookconcours.org) at Meadow Brook Hall in Rochester, Mich. on July 24 along with three other Motorama Cars from the same collection.
This exhibition will mark the first time that the Biscayne will be shown in like-new condition since the 1955 Motorama. The Biscayne was the first factory dream car to showcase Ed Cole’s small-block Chevrolet V-8, probably the most famous engine of the 20th century. Biscayne styling motifs also showed up on many other Chevrolets of the late-‘50s and early ‘60s.
