SYMCO SHAKEDOWN JUST AROUND THE CORNER

The Symco Shakedown "traditional" hot rod show is JUST AROUND THE CORNER -- both figuratively and literally. Held at the Union Thresherman's grounds in Symco, Wis., just 11 miles east of Iola (home of Old Cars Weekly) the show dates are Aug. 13-14. If you want to see what promises to become one of the biggest rod shows in the Midwest - and a reflection of current hobby trends - mark those dates on your calendar.

And if you do come to the Symco Shakedown, also note that my new restoration & hobby shop - called Gunner's Great Garage - is just two miles south of Symco on Highway 22. We'll be cooking hot dogs for the hot rods, so stop in and take a look and gobble down a weiner.
