The weather forecast is sunny and mid-80s all weekend. Why not head to the AACA Museum in Hershey, Pa., for a weekend of Cars, Cars and more Cars? The July 20-22 event will feature a lineup of special activities spanning all three days.

On Friday and Saturday, the museum will host Drive-In Movie Nights showing Disney-Pixar Cars 2. The Drive-In Movie Weekend will take our visitors back in time as a three-story inflatable movie screen and sound system will be set up on the grounds directly behind the Museum by USA Theatres. Visitors are encouraged to bring blankets and lawn chairs to sit out under the stars and drive-in parking spots will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.

The featured film Cars 2 (rated G) is a high-octane adventure comedy that shows life is about the journey, not the finish line! Viewing will begin at approximately 8:45-9 p.m. with some classic cartoons reminiscent of the early drive-in days. In the event of inclement weather, rain or strong winds, the film will be shown on Sunday, July 22. Concession vendors will be on site. The suggested donation is $15 per car.

Sunday, July 22, will be Chevrolet Day as the AACA Museum celebrates 100 years of Chevrolet by showcasing our 100 Years of Chevrolet exhibit in conjunction with the All Chevy Car Show. The show is open to ALL years, makes and models of Chevrolet Cars and Trucks.

More than 200 vehicles are expected along with food and ice cream vendors, a 50-50 drawing, DJ with your favorite tunes and some best of show awards. Attendance at the show is FREE for spectators, but regular admission will apply to enter the Museum and for these exhibits. The first 200 cars to register will also receive a commemorative dash plaque and all registered cars receive one complimentary admission ticket and a discounted admission for the others in their party. Pre-registration has ended, but cars can register onsite the day of the show for $20; the registration form can be found here:

The 100 Years of Chevrolet Exhibit, continues through Oct. 12, supported by lead sponsor Klick-Lewis of Palmyra, Pa. Including more than 35 cars, a special fine art display and automobilia, the exhibit spans all 100 years of Chevrolet's history. A few of the star cars in the exhibit are: 1935 Suburban - the very first Suburban ever produced, 1963 Impala SS - 50 millionth Chevrolet produced and first driven by Nelson Rockefeller, Earnhardt Corvette (C-5) Race Car - the last racer that Dale Earnhardt Sr. finished a race in before his death at Daytona, and the 1963 Monza GT Concept Car from the General Motors Heritage Collection. Additionally, the exhibit features two life sized Corvette Concept Car paintings by the world renowned fine artist, Peter Maier and a wide variety of Chevrolet automobilia from Pinky Randall, Mr. Chevrolet in the Collector Car Hobby, and Ron Smith. This collection includes dealer recognition awards, billboard and magazine advertisements, customer promotional items and period TV commercials.
