Fox Valley Road & Track Classic moves to fall

The annual Fox Valley Road and Track Classic, which is normally run in the spring, will be changing to a fall event this year. According to organizer Roy N. Fine, the tour-which traditionally goes from Neenah, Wis., to Road America a Elkhart Lake-will be held on Sept. 16-17, 2016.

This year the Fox Valley Road and Track Classic will take place in conjunction with the Vintage Sportscar Drivers Assoc.’s (VSCDA) Fall Festival at the historic race course. “This year’s event will feature new events, at-the-track activities, engaging presentations, a new scenic drive, a concours and more exciting racing action,” said Fine. “The VSCDA event will feature up to 300 vintage sports racing cars.”

Fine explained that the Fox Valley Road and Track Classic has always been an enormously popular early-season event, but the changes planned for 2016 will allow participants to enjoy the spectacular fall scenery, as well as take part in the VSCDA Fall Festival activities.

“I would like to thank enthusiasts in advance for participating in this year’s improved venue,” said Fine. “We hope the change will not cause any inconvenience. Information about the Fox Valley Road and Track Classic will be available at 1-920-915-1875.
