Greenwich Concours to Feature GM Centennial

The 13th annual Greenwich Concours d’Elegance will be a festival of speed and style when it graces Roger Sherman Baldwin Park in Greenwich, Conn., June 7-8.

GREENWICH, Conn. — The 13th annual Greenwich Concours d’Elegance will be a festival of speed and style when it graces Roger Sherman Baldwin Park in Greenwich, Conn., June 7-8.

The event will celebrate the 100th anniversary of General Motors with the Pininfarina-bodied 1963 Corvette Rondine, as well as a special display of vintage motorcycles, aircraft and an in-the-water display of vintage and contemporary boats.

As a two-fold event, the Greenwich Concours d’Elegance wll feature American cars on June 7, followed by European sports, touring and competition cars on June 8. Many of these vehicles are rare vehicles, whether they are limited-production or one-off machines. All of the vehicular displays are complemented by galleries of automotive art and automobilia, as well as work shops and demonstrations. Again, chief judge for the event will be actor and automotive hobbyist Edward Herrmann and the event will benefit the international relief organization AmeriCares.
