Axes & Axles Interactive Workshop presents two hands-on sessions featuring master guitar builders and custom car builders on Friday, Jan. 28, 2011.

WHAT: The Wally Parks NHRA Motorsports Museum, presented by the Automobile Club of Southern California, and WyoTech are proud to present an educational workshop on cars and guitars in conjunction with the Museum's newest exhibit, Axes & Axles: The Art of Building Cars and Guitars, celebrating the 60th anniversary of the Fender Telecaster featuring guitar builders, car builders for the stars – Jimmy Shine of SO-CAL Speed Shop and Roy Brizio (built cars for guitar greats Eric Clapton and Jeff Beck), musicians and artists. From the colors used to paint a hot rod to the sleek curves of a guitar, there are numerous similarities between cars and guitars.
