Old rides, young riders: Iola Old Car Show will set aside special area for young collectors

For hobbyists 25 years of age or younger

In an effort to recognize younger drivers who are active in the collector vehicle hobby, the 2010 Iola Old Car Show has set aside a special area adjacent to the “Teamed to Learn” tent for them to show off their rides, whether they’re primered or painted, rodded or restored.

This special section of the Iola Old Car Show is for hobbyists who are 25 years of age or younger that drive a collector car that is 25 years old or older. Cars and trucks need not be show-quality, but must be presentable and driven onto the grounds under their own power. Stock and modified vehicles are welcome in the area.

Hobbyists who wish to participate in this “Old Cars, Young Riders” section of the show will not be charged admission when driving their car into this display.

As an incentive, participants will be placed in a drawing for a number of gift certificates to JC Whitney – with the top prize being a $250.00 certificate.

In order to participate, send a photo and identification of your car, along with your name, address, birthdate, e-mail and phone number, to the Iola Old Car Show, PO Box 1, Iola, WI 54945. Entries must be received by June 20, 2010, in order to receive free admission for a car in this section.
