Saturday, Aug. 22 is Club Day, when the show grounds will be open to all cars regardless of make or production date. Expected is a collection of 120 – 150 high quality cars that have been driven in by individuals and various club members. “If you’re more into hot rods, big engines & customs, with a few antiques sprinkled in, you’ll want to be there Saturday,” said one of the weekend organizers, Leon Flagg.

Also Saturday there will be the Historic Driving Tour, open exclusively to Concours d’Elegance exhibitors. In its third year, the driving tour gives the public a chance to see some of the show’s most rare and unique vehicles in motion as they wind through the streets of Milwaukee’s East Side to arrive at Kletsch Park for a brief stop around 9:45 a.m. The Tour will continue on to arrive at Cedar Creek Park in Cedarburg at approximately 10:50 a.m.

Other activities on Saturday include “Let Me Tell You About My Car” from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. when some of the exhibitors will be interviewed about their cars. And, from noon-12:30 p.m. there will be a presentation by Jim Draeger and Mark Speltz, authors of ‘Fill ‘er Up: The Glory Days of Wisconsin Gas Stations’ sponsored by the Wisconsin Historical Society. The presentations will be repeated on Sunday, with concours participants featured in the exhibitor interviews.

This year's Concours d'Elegance will be held Sunday. Automobiles on display this year include Duesenberg, Bentley, Mason, Gale, Morgan and Vespa as well as the featured Ferrari. Beautifully restored and impeccable original examples of automotive history will grace the show field for judging. Only vehicles from the earliest up to 1973 have been selected to compete in the show. The concours has been described as “rolling sculpture” and “an art show on wheels”.

The awards ceremony will begin at 2 p.m.

For the first time, a display of classic vintage motorcycles will also be part of this year’s concours.

Cost of admission at the gate is $15 per day or $20 for a two-day pass.
