Russo & Steele auction rescheduled for Sunday-Monday
Saturday spent assessing and regrouping from wind damage
The auction company experienced a major blow Thursday night when a powerful storm blew down tents and damaged an undetermined number of collector cars.
This morning, Russo & Steele invited consignors to a breakfast briefing after which they would be able to take a closer look at their vehicles. Police had restricted access to the area until bad weather cleared out and the area was safely secured.
Auction officials announced on their Web site Saturday that the auction would begin again on Sunday. Gates will open at 8 a.m. First on the docket will be memorabilia, followed by cars at 10 a.m. The auction will continue and conclude on Monday.
Russo & Steele announced that they would provide a revised schedule of auction cars tonight on its Web site at: www.russoandsteele.com
