VMCCA to hold Western National Tour

LARAMIE, Wyo. -- The Veteran Motor Car Club of America will hold its 2011 Western National Tour from Aug. 21-26. The tour is open to all makes and models of cars built in 1986 and earlier. A five-day hub tour, it will be headquartered in Laramie, Wyo., and is designed to bring the thrill of the touring to owners of vintage cars. This tour will be relaxed tour, primarily on back roads, through some of the prettiest country in the United States. 

Tour participants will visit the Snowy Range, Encampment and Saratoga. There will be judging in conjunction with Wyo-Tech, a school teaching restoration and fabrication. We will visit the Wind River Ranch, the historic Territorial Prison, Goudy State Park, the Lincoln Highway and a visit to Cheyenne and Warren Air Force Base will complete our week of travel. 

Tour participants may print registration forms online on the website, www.vmcca.org. Participants must be members of The Veteran Motor Car Club of America. VMCCA membership is open to anyone with an interest in cars 25 years or older.
