Join the Gilmore Car Museum’s Model T Driving School in 2014. Learn the skills required to drive any of the 15 million “Tin Lizzies” built between 1908 and 1927.
Join the Gilmore Car Museum's Model T Driving School in 2014. Learn the skills required to drive any of the 15 million "Tin Lizzies" built between 1908 and 1927, including use of spark and throttle control levers, coordination of hand and foot techniques, reversing and stopping the vehicle, proper shifting techniques, and the correct use of the neutral/brake lever.
After successfully completing the course, students will road test in an authentic Model T Ford and will be presented with a Certificate of Completion.
The cost is $95 per student and $85 for museum members. Classes will be offered: May 3, June 22, July 20, Aug. 23 and Sept. 14. Class sizes are limited and pre-registration is required. Reserve your space by calling 269-671-5089.
