This 1936 Ford Street Rod Coupe comes from the Bruce Rossmeyer
estate and is among the featured cars in the Fort Lauderdale sale.
Ford Coupes by the late renowned Southern California hot rod and custom car designer, Boyd Coddington, will join a list of over 400 cars to cross the auction block during RM’s Collector Cars of Fort Lauderdale event March 26-28. Also offered will be quality examples of hot rods from the estate of Bruce Rossmeyer, and 130 cars of many high-end makes and models from the John O'Quinn collection.
The Fort Lauderdale event will be held at the Greater Fort Lauderdale / Broward County Convention Centre.
Leading the selection of hot rods is an incredible 1936 Ford Street Rod Coupe from the Rossmeyer estate and featured in the September 2008 issue of Street Rodder Magazine.
Built to perfection by Scott Banowski’s Hot Rods & Hobbies for Rossmeyer to a design by Steve Stanford, this 1936 Ford Street Rod Coupe is simply stunning throughout. It is constructed to the highest standards with a unique structure supporting the flowing and subtly customized bodywork, and comes equipped with a Windsor-based 427 cubic inch small-block Ford V8 mated to a four-speed automatic transmission with overdirve.
