Steam runabout headlines RM Hershey sale

RM Auctions’ annual fall Hershey sale was held Oct. 6-7 at the Hershey Lodge in Hershey, Pa. Headlined by the record sale of the 1884 De Dion Bouton et Trepardoux Dos-a-Dos steam runabout (pictured above), the auction generated over $10 million in sales. Of the 115 lots offered, 95 were declared sold at the podium, which represents a 82.6 percent sell-through rate.
